Next-Level Off Ice Training Camp April - June, 2024 Various Locations, Lethbridge
Pinnacle Hockey is excited to launch in the spring of 2024, high quality off ice training to support your athlete in taking their game to the next level. All sessions will be led by elite Junior Hockey player and Pinnacle Hockey Associate Head Instructor Braeden Jack. For the past 10 years Braeden has exhibited what it takes to overcome hurdles and obstacles to pass so many in his journey to now play as the youngest forward on one of the premiere Junior ‘A’ teams in the country the Ferne Ghostriders. Braeden’s ability to educate, teach, motivate, inspire, challenge, and support young athletes is second to none. This spring and summer Braeden will be offering dedicated off ice training opportunities for athletes whose birth year ranges from 2011 – 2018. These sessions will take place from April to June, 2024 and families will have flexibility to choose their schedules to support their personal lives filled with lots of spring commitments. Braeden will be joined at times by other elite hockey players from our area along with additional highly respected quality coaches. In addition to group sessions, upon special request, Braeden is available for personalized 1 on 1 training. Please contact us for further information.
Here is a list highlighting some of the areas of focus: Warm-up (prepare for optimal muscle development) Stretching (active, dynamic) Plyometrics (power and explosiveness) Balance and coordination Core conditioning Hockey specific conditioning Agility and quickness Next-level stickhandling Growth plans and goal setting for each individual athlete Cool-down Nutrition (Healthy food choices pre and post activity) Fluids and hydration
All sessions will take place outdoors in environments that promote full body training in a hockey specific context supporting total athletic development. This outdoor training will allow athletes’ parents to stay and observe if they choose to. Our goal is to promote education through this program so that each athlete and family can continue their training outside of Braeden’s sessions. A wide variety of equipment will be used, including but not limited to; kettle bells, resistance bands, agility ladders/poles/hurdles, hockey sticks, puck boards, jumping rope, and much more!
